Managing Director
William is the founding Director of BMG Associates and a former Director with the Northern Ireland Housing Executive.
Following a lengthy career in NIHE, culminating in 10 years service as Regional Director in Belfast, William was appointed resident Project Director for an EU-funded TACIS project to provide consultancy assistance to the Russian Federal Government in respect of Housing and Land Reform and Community Development. During the period 1999 until 2003, William was engaged in a number of consultancy assignments in Bulgaria (development of a Housing Association), Bosnia (Refugee rehousing) and in Ukraine ( Social Economy development).
In 2004/5 William was the BMG Project Manager for the delivery of a Social Economy Support and Mentoring programme for Dungannon &South Tyrone LSP. In 2005 he managed a strategic Review of the Northern Ireland Equality Commission on behalf of OFMDFM. In 2006 and 2007 William delivered community development projects for the Community Foundation for Northern Ireland.
In a personal capacity, William served for 8 years as a volunteer member of the Board of Directors of Habitat for Humanity International and he is currently Honorary Secretary to the Northern Ireland Council of the European Movement.
